A burnt branch sprouted. I was walking through the forest one winter and found an old fire pit. There were half-burnt branches of a very beautiful tree there. I took one of the burnt branches, brought it home, and stuck it in the ground in my garden. So, yesterday I noticed that the branch had sprouted and put out leaves. Isn't that a success?
