Make money simply by scanning your purchase receipts 📳

I'd like to share my experience with the Fetch Rewards app—one of the easiest ways to earn small cashback on regular purchases.

What it is and how it works 👉

Fetch Rewards is an American receipt scanning app. Download it (available for iOS and Android), register, and simply snap a photo of any paper or electronic receipts from stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc.
You'll earn a minimum of 25 points for each receipt. If the receipt contains products from partner brands (and there are quite a few), the points can be significantly higher. Points are awarded automatically after recognition.
The exchange rate is approximately: 1,000 points ≈ $1.

The minimum withdrawal is 3,000 points ($3) for gift cards.
What can you withdraw to?
Only gift cards (Amazon, Target, Walmart, Starbucks, Visa prepaid, and a bunch of other options). There is no direct withdrawal to PayPal or a bank card. Cards usually arrive within a few minutes—maximum 72 hours.

Pros

Very simple process: snap a photo of your receipt and earn points.
Works with any receipt (no need to activate offers in advance, like with Ibotta).
Low withdrawal threshold ($3).
You can connect e-receipts (Amazon and some others)—some purchases are counted automatically.
The app is free, and there's no deposit required.

Cons

The earnings are small. Scanning 8-15 receipts per month typically nets you $5-15. More is only possible if you specifically target bonus items.
No real cash, only gift cards.
The limit is 35 receipts in 7 days.
Points expire if your account is inactive for a long time (90 days).
Sometimes there are delays in accrual or support issues.

Realistic Expectations

This isn't a way to make money, but rather "pocket money" for things you already buy. If you shop regularly and don't mind spending 20-30 seconds taking a photo of your receipt, it's worth it. If you're expecting serious income, you'll be disappointed.
Overall, the app is legitimate (the company has been around for many years, has millions of users, and boasts high ratings in app stores). There are almost no scam reviews like "money never arrived"; complaints mostly center around the slow accumulation of points.
If anyone uses it, could you share how much you earn on average per month?
