Twitter search bot. Is this something new, or am I missing something? I recently noticed a Twitter search bot hanging around my site. I knew nothing about it before and didn't even realize it existed. However, a search bot typically represents a specific search engine to which it's linked. Personally, I've never heard of a Twitter search engine. Perhaps it's a recent development, but Twitter itself, as a social network by that name, no longer exists. Although it's entirely possible the search engine remains.
