Guys, straight to the point, no fluff.
YouTube does monetize AI videos. It doesn’t ban you just for using AI. What it bans is the “slop” — mass-produced template content where you change a couple of words and upload 10 videos a day.
What actually works right now (tested on my own channel):
If you’re starting now — don’t chase volume, chase quality and uniqueness. Otherwise in a couple of months you’ll get hit with “inauthentic content” and say goodbye to YPP.
Anyone already in this game — drop the niches that are getting the least heat right now.

What actually works right now (tested on my own channel):
- Make original content. Your own angle, your own thoughts, your own delivery. AI is a tool (script, voiceover, visuals, editing), not a replacement for your brain.
- Always disclose synthetic content if it looks realistic (the checkbox in Studio). It doesn’t hurt monetization or reach — YouTube says so themselves.
- Don’t go into sensitive topics with AI personas (health, finance, legal). That’s a hard line.
- Don’t run the same template with tiny changes. Every video needs to feel different.
